Critter care Veterinary Hospital has taken EXCELLENT care of my three boys. From lumps to bumps on your dog, or parasites on your snake, Dr. Portugal and Dr. Schroder are fantastic. They are so knowledgeable and go to great lengths to make sure ALL of their patients AND staff are educated.
I took my puppy in to get a k9 removed, and within a few hours they called to inform me that the surgery could not be performed. Of course, I’m in a mild state of panic and they beautifully explained to me that his pre surgery blood work wasn’t looking too good to be able to go forth with the procedure. THANK GOD they do bloodwork before any operation because my dog ended up being anemic and has a weak auto immune system. I would have never known this without it. The doctors knew not to operate, and they gave me a game plan and medication to help get my little guy back on track! Sarah, the practice manager is absolutely wonderful and has the biggest heart. She is someone who genuinely cares so so much about every creature scales to tails. Chris, the front desk receptionist is an absolute doll. She will go to great lengths to take care of you in a timely manner and ensure you are happy before you walk out the door. Overall, the whole team at critter care is fabulous. With confidence, I can say I have found a vet for my boys that meets every one of my standards.
